Monochromatic Pool presents Monochromatic Pool, a multimedia work for narrator, guitar, and video. The piece discusses humanity and its human-centric earth-centric perspective. The trio collectively employs narrative fiction, poetry, microtonality, extended instrumental techniques, video synthesis, and sculpture.

Monochromatic Pool was recorded at Make Haven and in the band members' homes. Monochromatic Pool was mixed by Shannon Fields at The Run-In, Jordanville, NY.

Chanelle Allesandre writes poetry and prose, composes atmospheric and improvised soundscapes, makes flower essences, takes 35mm film photographs, and on occasion is a monitrice. She is devoted to fostering the filigree that is woven from creative collaborations and risk-taking in her artistic community. She is currently living by the Quinnipiac river in New Haven, CT.

Dave Scanlon writes austere songs and continues a series of "counting" compositions focusing on intonation and measurement. As a guitarist, he has worked with David Behrman, JOBS, Leverage Models, Pet Bottle Ningen, Yamamoto Seiichi, Elliott Sharp, Alena Spanger, Otomo Yoshihide, and others.

Kit Young works in performative media. He builds video systems that he plays in an improvisational way. His creative practice establishes an environment of awareness, subversion, liberation, and humor. Kit has screened and performed recently at V_Aku Budapest, Crossroads FF, (SF); Ann Arbor FF; and Intermediale, (Poland).
